For Individuals & Groups

…tending to your emotional, spiritual, physical and psychological well-being

If you are seeking help right now, you probably want something in your life to change.  You may feel overwhelmed, sad, or anxious, out of balance in your life, lacking in joy or energy, or dealing with unresolved trauma.  In this fast-paced life where stress has become commonplace and acceptable, it may be time for you to take a “pause” to reflect on your life and re-align with your best self. In a safe, comfortable environment, together we will open the doors of self-awareness and trust, breaking down resistances and building a bridge to living your life with greater joy and ease. I have many years of experience in working with developmental and attachment trauma which allows me to help you connect the past with the present.

Over the years I have helped my clients develop effective strategies to help you feel empowered to take charge of your life and make real changes that will lead towards a healthier, happier you. I believe not only in your individual capacity to know what is right for you, but also in sharing my insight and help join the dots - what clients describe as one of my strengths. My work is complemented by my training in Reiki, EFT, somatic exercises and holistic stress management. With a focus on mindfulness and emotional self-care, and using body centered therapies such as sensorimotor psychotherapy, we will explore your innate ability to access your own inner wisdom, translating that wisdom into practical coping skills and a new compassion-centered understanding of how to handle life’s very real challenges. Together we will explore how to build an effective bridge to a place of inner peace, self-acceptance and self-love.

"My experience with Caroline was life-changing. I came to her with some serious stress issues in multiple areas of my life, including an aging parent in another state and a partner who also needed some assistance due to some very difficult circumstances. Caroline helped me to redirect my thought processes and to understand that I have to make my own self-care the most important aspect to achieve a happier future. Slowly I learned how to react only to what was most essential and to let the rest go. She made me realize that I had denied my own needs for too long and that the road to helping those in my life started with me and how I choose to handle things. Caroline is not a therapist who “tells you what you want to hear.” She will focus on the issues that need to be addressed and that journey almost always begins with an honest look at oneself and one’s life choices.
I would be in a very bad and much less happy place now if it had not been for Caroline and her guidance, motivation and suggestions on how to deal with very complicated. I’ve always said that a great therapist doesn’t take you fishing for the day but teaches you how to fish. At the end of this journey, I don’t have all of the answers nor is everything a problem-free panacea. But I truly feel now that I am much better equipped with the tools to handle some very complex circumstances. Caroline helped me to find the key to a better life within myself.  I feel blessed to have worked with her."          GR, Westport

"Warm, caring, empathetic and, yes, challenging.…
Those are the words that first come to mind when I think about Caroline Temple.

We’ve been working together for a few years now and I can honestly say that she’s had a profound impact on my life and how I live it.  I love that she challenges me to truly look at myself and improve on things that I want to be better at.  How she encourages me to be kind to myself and sit with my feelings instead of dismissing them.  She’s proven to be the kind of person who will always be there in a crisis situation.  She’s taught me so much and for that I am so grateful.

I truly enjoy and get so much out of every session spent with Caroline!  With Caroline's gentle support, I know that even sessions that feel uncomfortable and challenging are all leading me towards my own growth and healing in a safe way."             DG, Westport
